Read & Explore with Author Katy Klimczuk - 102-1-1801

Join us for an afternoon of nature and creativity with children’s author, Katy Klimczuk. Katy will read excerpts of her book M is for Mackinac: A Nature Alphabet and chat about her experience as a children’s author. We will create art inspired by the books' illustrations and look more closely at wildflowers found in Michigan. Afterwards, we will head outside to the nature trails in search of wildlife that call the park home. We’ll look for animal signs, search for insects, inspect native plants and listen for singing birds. Books can be signed and purchased at the event.
