Preserving the Past - 112-1-1772

During the 20th Century, incredible examples of our national history were destroyed. As a result, treasured buildings and landscapes are now gone forever. The Historic Preservation Act of 1966 created a process for preserving our built environment future generations. Join us as we investigate the origins of historic preservation efforts and how the Act really works (it’s not what many people think!). We’ll also highlight some local entries in the National Register Historic Places.
