Join us as we venture into the woods to view a vernal pool and search for salamanders. Salamanders journey overland to get to vernal pools to lay their eggs. We'll see what other critters use this unique habitat as well.

What to Expect:
This program is entirely outdoors. The time, approximately 45 minutes, will be spent on a leisurely walk with frequent stops. Expect to walk about .75 miles. We will conclude at Rivergrove Picnic Area. The planned path is dirt and gravel, off trail into the woods, frequently rolling or slightly hilly, not suitable for adaptive walking equipment. No prior experience is necessary. Group discussion will be encouraged.
