Spotlight On: River Mammals - 115-1-1753

Join us to explore about the lives of the four major mammal species dwelling along the Huron River: beavers, muskrats, minks, and river otters. Learn about their behaviors, habitats, and their significance in local ecosystems. By focusing on these charismatic animals, you will gain awareness and appreciation of the diverse wildlife along the Huron River.

What to Expect:
This program is entirely indoors and is fully accessible for those with mobility issues. You will be seated for the entire 1 hour presentation. No prior experience is necessary. For maximum enjoyment, some of our one hour program time will require all participants to patiently remain quiet and listen closely.

Ages: Ages 8 and up. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Time: 11 a.m. - Noon
Cost: $3 per child, $5 per adult
Location: Indian Springs Metropark, Environmental Discovery Center

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
