Mother’s Day Hike: Warblers & Wildflowers - 115-1-1529

Bring a burst of color to your Mother’s Day morning by viewing some of the many native wildflowers and birds, like Warblers, that signal the changing of the season. Join us for a guided hike along our nature trails to learn about the blooms and wildlife we see along the way and appreciate their beauty up close as we celebrate the holiday together out in nature.

What to Expect:
This program is entirely outdoors. The time, approximately one hour, will be spent on a leisurely walk with frequent stops. Expect to walk about 1 mile. We will conclude at the park Office. The planned path surface is dirt and gravel, frequently rolling or slightly hilly includes some bridges and boardwalks and suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. No prior experience is necessary. For maximum enjoyment, some of our one hour program time will require all participants to patiently remain quiet and listen closely.
Ages: Fun for all ages! Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Time: 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Cost: $3 per child, $5 per adult, children under two are Free!
Location: Indian Springs Metropark, Park Office Picnic Shelter

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
