Build a Turtle Nest Protector - 109-1-1745

This free program is all about turtles! You’ll learn about the life history, meet some of Michigan’s turtle species, and then learn to build a turtle nest protector to help protect some of Stony Creek Metropark’s turtle nests, keeping turtle eggs safe from hungry predators.

What to Expect:
This program takes place entire indoors. You will be seated for the entire 90-minute program. Time includes personal or small group instruction.

Ages: 8 and up. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Time: 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Cost: Free!
Location: Stony Creek Metropark, Nature Center

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. a week before the program.
