BROCHURE CODE/DESCRIPTION:
Join us as we celebrate Geocaching, an outdoor recreational activity in which participants use a Global Positioning System receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called "geocaches" or "caches". These caches can be found at specific locations marked by coordinates all over the world. Programs will include an intro to geocaching program; as well as a program conducted by Nature Center Staff. New caches will be introduced each day as part of the event, and members of the geocaching community will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. Be sure not to miss these programs full of fun and adventure.

What to Expect:
This program is both indoors and outdoors. The time will be divided equally, with approximately 60 minutes spent indoors for programming; and the remainder of the time spent outdoors on a leisurely walk in search of geocaches. The area we will be walking in is un-even and hilly.
