Volunteer Day for National Wildlife Day - 115-1-1605

Volunteer to help wildlife in honor of National Wildlife Day, a day to bring awareness to endangered species and conservation. Volunteers will work with Natural Resources staff to improve wildlife habitat at Indian Springs Metropark, while learning about the animals and insects that call this place home.

All necessary tools and equipment will be provided. We will provide gloves, but feel free to bring your favorite pair! Please be sure to dress for working outdoors and off-trail in areas that may include poison ivy (long pants, layered clothing, closed-toe shoes, rain gear, hat, sunscreen, etc.). Don’t forget to bring a bottle of water!

Ages: 12 and up. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Cost: Free!

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. three days before the program.
