Join us to celebrate World Snake Day at Kensington Metropark! Learn about the snakes that share our natural areas and work alongside Natural Resources staff to improve snake habitat.

All necessary tools and equipment will be provided. We will provide gloves, but feel free to bring your favorite pair! Please be sure to dress for working outdoors and off-trail in areas that may include poison ivy (long pants, layered clothing, closed-toe shoes, rain gear, hat, sunscreen, etc.). Don’t forget to bring a bottle of water!

Ages: 12 and up. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Cost: Free!

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. three days before the program.
