Beginning Birding - 102-1-1003

Our Beginning Birding series will cover a different topic each month focusing on helping you develop your bird identification skills and enjoyment around observing birds. Join one or all three sessions. These classes are intended to be participatory and supportive, so please bring your questions, observations, and challenges. Everyone can be a birder!

January – Beginning Birding: Backyard Birds
March – Beginning Birding: Birding by Ear
May – Beginning Birding: Spring Migration

What to Expect:
Plan on about 60 minutes indoors, 60 minutes outdoors for each session. The outdoor session will take place on compact gravel trails and will likely include a walk of between ¼ - ½ mile in length.

Ages 16 and up.
Time: 10 a.m. – Noon
Cost: $5 per child, $5 per adult
Location: Lake St. Clair Metropark, Nature Center

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
