Group Hike: Squirrel Watching - 104-1-1826

You’ve heard of birdwatching, but get ready for Group Squirrel-Watching, the newest trend for twenty-something nature lovers. Meet fellow nature lovers at this social/outdoor-experience, complete with coffee, tips for wildlife viewing, and, of course, time spent looking at squirrels. Make new friends, enjoy Kensington Nature Center’s special wildlife viewing opportunities, and find out what it’s all about.
What to expect: We will walk along uneven nature paths, stopping frequently to observe the wildlife. Program is entirely outdoors, so dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring your own binoculars, water bottles, and anything else you might need for a 45-minute hike. To help reduce waste, consider bringing your own cup for coffee. No previous squirrel-watching experience required.

Ages: Adults ages 18 – 25
Time: 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Cost: $5 per person.
Location: Kensington Metropark, Nature Center
