What goes "bump" or "skitter" or maybe even "scratchy-scurry" in the night? Join us at the Kensington Metropark Nature Center to find out! During these warm summer evenings, a whole host of unusual and exciting animals wake up and go on the prowl as darkness fills the forest. We'll meet at the outdoor amphitheater behind the nature center and then go on an hour-long hike through the woods and wetlands as we search for, and learn about, these creatures who really come alive when the lights go out!

What to expect:
This program is entirely outdoors. We’ll walk approximately 1 mile on dirt and gravel trails at a leisurely pace with frequent stops. We’ll end the walk back at the Kensington Metropark Nature Center. The path is mostly flat and level and includes some bridges and boardwalks. No prior experience is necessary. For maximum enjoyment, some of our program time will require all participants to patiently remain quiet and listen closely.
