Explore the trails at Indian Springs with a guided hike in search of some of our most brightly colored residents. We’ll start with a short presentation that includes some hands-on activities and real preserved butterflies. Then, we’ll head out to where wildflowers are blooming in the park to see what wild butterflies we can find.
This program is entirely outdoors. The time, approximately one hour, will be spent on a leisurely walk with frequent stops. Expect to walk about 1 mile. We will conclude at our destination: Park Office Picnic Shelter.  The planned path surface is dirt and gravel, suitable for wheelchairs, strollers and adaptive walking equipment.  The planned path grade is frequently rolling or slightly hilly. No prior experience is necessary. For maximum enjoyment, some of our one-hour program time will require all participants to patiently remain quiet and listen closely.
