Volunteer your time on National Clean-up Day with us at Lake St. Clair Metropark! We welcome scout groups, families, individuals, and corporate groups to participate in cleaning up different areas of the park to keep it beautiful and safe for all visitors and wildlife. Check-in will be held at Lake St. Clair Nature Center where all necessary tools, snacks and water will be provided to volunteers. Please preregister all who will be volunteering to participate properly, gain free access to the park and receive assigned clean-up locations.




What to Expect: This program is entirely outdoors. You, or your group, will be assigned a designated area for cleanup in the park for two hours. Due to the nature of the event, some walking, bending, lifting, and uneven surfaces may be a part of the event.

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. three days before the program.
