Winter Visitors: Tundras & Snowies - 112-1-1505

While many birds flee the continent during the winter months, a few call southeast Michigan home during the cold weather. Join us for a look at two winter visitors – the Snowy Owl and Tundra Swan. Why are they here? How long do they stay? Where can you see them? Come and find out!

What to Expect:
This program starts indoors and ends outdoors. Approximately 60 minutes will be spent inside; and 60 minutes will be spent outdoors. Participants will caravan to various areas throughout the park as needed.

Ages: 8 and up
Time: 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Cost: $3 per child, $5 per adult
Location: Lake Erie Metropark; Marshlands Museum

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
