Teacher Workshop: Water Quality at Lake St. Clair Metropark - 102-1-1846

Join us for a morning of exploring the waterways and wetlands at Lake St. Clair Metropark, then discover ways to build enthusiasm and student interest in water quality through hands-on, place-based lessons. This workshop links to lessons and activities available in Metroparks Supplemental Science Learning Boxes that support Michigan Science Standards and are available to borrow from the Metroparks for free. After the workshop you will have the skills and confidence you need to utilize the Supplemental Science Learning Box and lead your students in a water quality investigation. Dress to be outdoors and bring a water bottle. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
