Spotlight On - Swans - 104-1-1785

People often admire swans for their beauty and grace. We have three different species here at Kensington that you might be able to spot throughout the year, and one of them doesn’t like to play nice with the others! Come out and hear about these beautiful and fierce birds, learn why one of them is such a problem, and see some of their nesting spots.

What to Expect:
This program starts indoors, ends outside. Expect to walk about 1.5 miles. We will conclude at the Nature Center. The planned path is paved, mostly flat and level and includes some bridges and boardwalks and is suitable for wheelchairs and strollers and adaptive walking equipment. No prior experience is necessary.

Ages: 8 and up. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Time: 11a.m. – Noon
Cost: $3 per child, $5 per adult.
Location: Kensington Metropark, Nature Center
