Snakes Meet & Greet - 104-1-1783

Eighteen species of snake call Michigan home, including the venomous eastern Massasauga rattlesnake, and here at the Kensington Nature Center we have four of them! Join us for a very hands-on workshop on Michigan’s snakes. You’ll discover details about the wild ones, then have the opportunity to meet, as closely as you are comfortable, the snakes that live at the nature center. Whether you’re a snake afficionado or just a beginner, this program is for you!

What to Expect:
This program is entirely indoors. No prior experience is necessary. In-program group discussion will be encouraged. An opportunity for individual Q&A will be made available at the presentation conclusion.

Ages: 6 and up. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Time: 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Cost: $3 per child, $5 per adult
Location: Kensington Metropark, Nature Center
