The spring can be a wonderful time to see a variety of birds as they migrate through our area. Let’s hit the trails in search of some of our early spring migrants. Bring your binoculars and your bird guide. We will learn a little about the birds we spot and where they are migrating to.
What to Expect:
This program is entirely outdoors. The time, approximately 120 minutes, will be spent on a leisurely walk with frequent stops. We will conclude at the Oakwoods Nature Center. The planned path surface is dirt and gravel, and mostly flat and level.
Ages: 8 and up
Time: 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.
Cost: $3 per child, $5 per adult
Location: Oakwoods Metropark, Nature Center
Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
