Canal Paddle Tour - 112-1-1644

Bring your own canoe or kayak, paddle, a personal floatation device (PFD) and a sense of adventure and join us on a guided tour of the canals. Learn some local history, and keep your eyes open for local wildlife, as we explore this, often unseen, portion of Lake Erie Metropark. This program occurs on multiple dates in the morning or evening.

What to Expect:
This is a two-hour paddling adventure with a minimal amount of open water paddling. Parents with younger children are asked to plan accordingly.

Friday, May 31 - Canal Paddle Tour: Evening, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday, June 2 - Canal Paddle Tour: Morning, 10 a.m. – Noon
Saturday, July 13 - Canal Paddle Tour: Morning, 10 a.m. – Noon
Saturday, August 10 - Canal Paddle Tour: Morning, 10 a.m. – Noon
Friday, September 6 - Canal Paddle Tour: Evening, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Ages: 8 and up. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Time: Time varies by date.
Cost: $6 per child, $6 per adult
Location: Lake Erie Metropark, Boat Launch

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
