Homeschool Adventures - 102-1-1488

This homeschool series will cover a different topic each month focusing on Michigan wildlife and the unique habitats we have at Lake St. Clair Metropark. Each program will have indoor and outdoor elements including guided hikes through the nature trails. This is a drop off program and drop off paperwork will be completed during registration.

What to Expect:
This program takes place indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Trails are compact gravel but may be icy or muddy depending on the weather.

March – Homeschool Adventures: Maple Sugaring
April – Homeschool Adventures: Michigan Owls
May – Homeschool Adventures: Wetland Ecosystems
June – Homeschool Adventures: Pollinators
September – Homeschool Adventures: Life Under a Log
October – Homeschool Adventures: Falling for Nature
November – Homeschool Adventures: Rocks & Minerals
December – Homeschool Adventures: Natural Crafts

Ages: Children 6-12.
Time: 10 a.m. – Noon
Cost: $5 per child, adults are Free!
Location: Lake St. Clair Metropark, Nature Center

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
