This workshop is designed to enhance your teaching skills and become comfortable teaching outdoors – in urban, suburban, or rural environments. Receive multi-disciplinary, hands-on lessons aligned with state and national academic standards. Put the materials to use right away in your own classroom, playground, or nature center. Earn up to 4 SCECHs during this workshop.
What to Expect:
This program takes place indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Trails are compact gravel but may be icy or muddy depending on the weather.
Ages: 21 and up
Time: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Cost: $35 per person
Location: Lake St. Clair Metropark, Nature Center
Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. three days before the program.
