Autumn Leaf Lanterns - 109-1-1158

Let’s celebrate fall and the colorful forests along our trails. We’ll start our adventure with a fall leaf hike, collect a few specimens along the way, and then create a beautiful autumn leaf lantern to take home. This hands-on class is perfect for families to preserve the gorgeous shades of fall with a simple keepsake project.

What to Expect:
Participants will be walking approximately a mile on compact gravel trails for the leaf hike (optional). The craft requires some fine-motor skills but no standing or walking and should be accessible to most.
Ages: 6 years and up. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Time: 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Cost: $5 per child, $5 per adult
Location: Stony Creek Metropark, Nature Center

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
