Running Wild Day Camp - 115-1-1666

Spend the day outside exploring the wild places of Indian Springs Metropark. We'll search for critters, build shelters, play games, create art and more in this one-day camp. Portions of this program will be held outside, and participants may get muddy from all the fun in nature, so please dress appropriately. Sunscreen and bug spray are recommended. Bring a lunch and a water bottle.

What to Expect:
Approximately 1 hour of this program is indoors in the classroom. The time we’ll be outside, approximately 3 hours, will be spent on an exploration walk around our woods, prairie and ponds with frequent stops, ending back at the Environmental Discovery Center. The planned path surface is dirt and gravel, frequently rolling or slightly hilly and is not suitable for adaptive walking equipment.
