Winter Night Hike: Kensington - 104-1-1012

Celebrate the beauty of the season on a nighttime walk through the winter woods. We’ll discover myths and legends about the moon in February while keeping our senses sharp for signs of wildlife and subtle seasonal changes on this guided night hike.

What to Expect:
This program is entirely outdoors. Most of this program time will be spent walking. Expect to walk about 1 mile. Our walk will be a round trip. The planned path is dirt and gravel, mostly flat and level, and may be snowy/icy. No prior experience is necessary. In-program group discussion will be encouraged.

Ages: 8 and up. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Time: 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Cost: $3 per child, $5 per adult
Location: Kensington Metropark, Nature Center

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
