Details for Solar Eclipse 2024: Lake St. Clair Metropark

Join us on Monday, April 8th as we watch the progression of the Total Solar Eclipse. Here in Southeast Michigan, we will be at over 99% Totality. Not sure what that means? No worries, that’s why we will be here! We will have Eclipse Viewing Glasses available while supplies last. You have three different location options to choose from: Lake St. Clair Metropark, Cullen Plaza in Detroit Riverfront, and Lake Erie Metropark. Also, please be aware that this program is weather permitting; and will not take place in the event of rain, or extreme cloud cover.

What to Expect:
This program is entirely outdoors, and staff will be stationary. The time, approximately 120 minutes, will be spent viewing the progress of the eclipse.

Pre-registration is not required.
