Overview:
Spring is the perfect time of year to search for signs of animals just waking up from a long winter’s nap and new flowers appearing on plants and trees. It’s also the perfect time to join us for a Spring Break family hike! We’ll check the mud for animal tracks, search for tadpoles in the pond, and scan the skies and trees for any birds that have flown back from their winter migration. Wear your walking shoes, brings the kids, and have some outdoor fun with us!

What to Expect:
This program is entirely outdoors. Most of this program time will be spent walking. Expect to walk about 1 mile. Our walk will be a round trip. The planned path is dirt and gravel, mostly flat and level. No prior experience is necessary. In-program group discussion will be encouraged.

Ages: Fun for all ages! Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Time: 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Cost: $3 per child, $5 per adult, children under 2 are Free!
Location: Kensington Metropark, Nature Center

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
