Overview:Discover the wonders of nature with family and friends this spring break at Indian Springs Metropark! Embark on a memorable adventure through scenic trails, as we offer insights into local plants, animals, and ecosystems. Unplug, unwind, and connect with family, friends, and the beauty of the natural world on this enriching and educational journey.What to Expect:This program is entirely outdoors. The time, approximately one hour, will be spent on a leisurely walk with frequent stops. Expect to walk about 1.5 miles. We will conclude at the Environmental Discovery Center. The planned path is dirt and gravel, grass, or lawn, frequently rolling or slightly hilly, includes some bridges and boardwalks, and is suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. No prior experience is necessary. For maximum enjoyment, some of our one hour program time will require all participants to patiently remain quiet and listen closely. Ages: Fun for all ages!
