Overview:
The Detroit River attracts a rich variety of migratory waterfowl in the winter. Bundle up to explore the shoreline in search of our visiting feathered friends. Discover where these birds come from, why the Lake Erie Metropark area is such an important place for these birds, and how we study these birds to help us learn about the health of our ecosystem. Bring binoculars or borrow a pair of ours. We may caravan through the park to various birding locations.
Ages: 8 and up. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Time: 10 a.m. – Noon & 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Cost: $3 per child, $5 per adult
Location: Lake Erie Metropark, Marshlands Museum

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
