Did you know sheep are important livestock to create fiber that humans use for so many different purposes? Watch a professional sheep shearer as they shear our flock of sheep and learn what happens to the wool once the sheep is shorn. Enjoy demonstrations of weaving, spinning, felting and more! Visit our artisans and peruse the beautiful items available to purchase.

Sheep shearing demonstrations run every half hour during the Fiber Fair.

Pre-registration is not required.

Ages: Fun for all ages!
Time: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Cost: Free! A Metroparks vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark.
