Overview:Just how wild IS Michigan? Join us for a monthly program to discuss and experience the wonderful creatures and places found here! Each month we will focus on a different theme that is relevant to the animals, plants, seasons, and history of this great state. Be sure to come every month to add to your “Wild Michigan Booklet” (provided). Each month will include an activity to add to your booklet and those who complete their booklet at the end of the year will receive a special prize. Participants will take a short, guided outdoor hike on compact gravel trails with plenty of time for exploration and questions. Hikes will vary in length from ½ to 1 mile. For maximum enjoyment, some of our 90-minute program time will require all participants to patiently remain quiet and listen closely.Ages: 5 and up.Time: 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Cost: $3 per child, $5 per adult Location: Lake St. Clair Metropark, Nature Center Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
