Overview:We will be spending the evening learning about the habits and habitats of the extraordinary owl during this unique evening program. We will begin with a short presentation to discuss some interesting facts about owls, before we head out on the trails to see if we can call in an Eastern Screech Owl or two.What to Expect:This program is entirely outdoors. The time, approximately 120 minutes, will be spent on a leisurely walk with frequent stops. We will conclude at the Oakwoods Nature Center. The planned path surface is dirt and gravel and mostly flat and level. However, conditions may determine that other trails, which include un-even, steep terrain, may be utilized.Ages: 8 and up.Time: 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.Cost: $5 per child, $5 per adultLocation: Oakwoods Metropark, Nature CenterPre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
