Overview:
Let’s explore together! Preschool Nature Explorers is a monthly nature program for preschool-aged children (accompanied by an adult). The first Thursday of each month we will learn about a different nature topic through stories, outdoor exploration, and activities or crafts - and we may get messy! - so please dress accordingly.

What to Expect:
Programs will be held indoors and outside, weather permitting. The planned path surface is dirt, gravel, grass, or off trail into the woods. The planned path grade is frequently rolling or slightly hilly and includes some bridges and boardwalks.
Choose to attend any or all of the programs.
January 4 – Preschool Nature Explorers: Animal Tracks
February 1 – Preschool Nature Explorers: I Like Turtles
March 7 – Preschool Nature Explorers: Magic Ponds
April 4 – Preschool Nature Explorers: All About Birds
May 2 – Preschool Nature Explorers: Sun Fun
September 5 – Preschool Nature Explorers: Honeybees
October 3 – Preschool Nature Explorers: Colors in Nature
November 7 – Preschool Nature Explorers: Animal Superpowers
December 5 – Preschool Nature Explorers: Nature Art

Ages: Children 3 - 6. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Time: 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Cost: $3 per child, adults are Free!
Location: Indian Springs Metropark, Environmental Discovery Center

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
