Overview:Join us on a guided tour where you will learn about a crop rich in history and flavor. Scouts will walk about .5 mile over uneven ground to our woods to learn how to identify and tap maple trees. Then visit the wood-fired evaporator and discover how to turn sap into the sweet treat we all know and love, syrup!Ages: Fun for all ages!Time: 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.Cost: $5 per scout, adults are Free!Location: Wolcott Mill Metropark, Historic CenterPre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.Click here for a full list of times and to register online.
