Overview:
This class, for our youngest learners, will ignite excitement for nature by focusing each month on a well-known animal, plant, or natural occurrence. Through stories, crafts and nature exploration kids will collect information about these fun topics. With this new knowledge, kids and families can gain confidence with outdoor nature play and experience the joy and wonder of nature. Please register both the participating child(ren) and the adult(s) for this program!

January – Little Critters: Raccoons & Opossums
February – Little Critters: Winter Tracks
March – Little Critters: Birds, birds, birds
April – Little Critters: Spring Gardens
May – Little Critters: Hawks
June – Little Critters: Muskrat & Beaver
September – Little Critters: Fall Birds
October – Little Critters: Bats
November – Little Critters: Animal Homes
December – Little Critters: Winter Bugs

What to Expect:
This session takes places indoors and outdoors throughout the year and is designed for caregiver and child to participate in together.

Ages: Children 3 - 6. Must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Time: 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Cost: $3 per child, adults are Free!
Location: Lake St. Clair Metropark, Nature Center

Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
