Overview:Join us for our monthly programs to discuss and experience the wonderful organisms and places found in Michigan! We will discuss topics that are relevant to the animals, plants, seasons, and history of this great state. Every session, participants will add to their “Wild Michigan Booklet” that will be provided. A special giveaway will also be provided to those who complete their booklets by attending all 12 programs at the end of the year. What to Expect:This family-friendly program takes place indoors and outdoors. Participants will take a short, guided outdoor hike on compact gravel trails with plenty of time for exploration and questions. Hikes will vary in length from .5 to 1 mile. Ages: 5 and up.Time: 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Cost: $5 per child, $5 per adult Location: Lake St. Clair Metropark, Nature Center Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program.
